(Flirting isn't something he's bad at, truthfully he's had time to perfect that with how he can talk and charm whenever he's willing to put himself out there. Though even this is coming off as something new to Diluc of all people as really that part that had been screaming at him earlier to back down was confused. Normally this didn't come out of him but it is now by how he's responding.
She's different. It's enough to keep his attention fully too knowing he already had crossed the line with her; once that was done it's guaranteed he'll never take his eyes off her again.
