Perhaps something he had no right to worry about knowing she's capable of protecting herself normally but, he wouldn't want to do that to her no matter his current state.
Her cool touch is really doing wonders anyway for him who is often times has his blood run hot in comparison. That and he's not minding she may want to use it to warm up with more too.)
